WOODY'S HOME FOR VETS

 Woody's Home for Vets
Our mission is to provide a stable home environment for homeless veterans in need of ongoing psychiatric care.

Our Veterans Are The Forgotten Ones
Everyone praises and supports the vet who returns home with visible scars, and while it is important to recognize and show appreciation for all who have served, veterans like our residents at Woody's, are the forgotten ones.

The mental health of our veterans can be directly attributed to the scars deep within that no one sees.

These invisible scars devastate the quality of life, creating chaos & instability, and unfortunately, resulting in homelessness for many of America's veterans.

In addition to a place to call home, Woody's Home for Veterans provides a safe haven where these veterans can interact with their fellow servicemen while receiving the psychiatric & supportive care they are so rightfully owed for the many sacrifices they have made.

Louisiana's number of homeless veterans is estimated to be over 350 and rising, and Woody's Home for Veterans relies on the public's generosity to ensure that no veteran is ever turned away.

Established in 2003, Woody's Home for Veterans was founded in honor of my father, Harold 'Woody' Key.
